If God does not change, then why are there changing standards (e.g., the suspension of the Mosaic Law)?

(a)        That God’s administrative expectations change from era to era does not mean that his essential moral nature has changed. There are abiding ethical norms in God that do not change.

(b)        Changes in the temporal penalties for sin do not require changes in the nature of the sin itself.
