If God is all-loving is there love in hell?

Answer: Hell is punitive and not remedial, so whatever love God is showing to the damned is limited in scope. Perhaps we could posit a modicum of benevolence in God’s assigning degrees of punishment (Matt 11:24; Luke 12:47–48?), but this is a rather meager expression of love. Probably it is best to answer (as in the question above) that God is not obliged to manifest his love to the damned, though none of the damned can rightly claim never to have been a beneficiary of God’s love.
