What is omnisapience of God?

By omnisapience is meant that God applies his knowledge in such a way that the best means are employed to achieve the highest ends in order to glorify him the most: God is all wise.

Romans 16:27—God is described as “the only wise God.”

Romans 11:33—Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable his judgments, and his paths beyond tracing out!

This attribute is manifested…

  1. In creation. Psalm 104:24—How many are your works, O LORD! In wisdom you made them all.
  2. In providence. Romans 8:28—God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to hispurpose.
  3. In redemption. Ephesians 3:10—His intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known.
