What is the victorious view of atonement (Atonement as Victory)?

A view common among Liberation Theology and the theology of repressed people groups, this view sees Christ’s atonement as the decisive triumph of God over Satan and good over evil, a victory that gives us hope of triumph and relief both in this life and in the hereafter.
